Job-search email gets noisy very quickly.

Once applications start going out, the inbox fills up with a mix of:

• application acknowledgements
• generic updates
• assessments
• interview invitations
• rejections
• irrelevant job-board alerts and newsletters

The problem is not just volume. It is the constant context switching required to figure out what each email means, whether it matters, and whether it should change anything in a tracking system.

In practice, that creates a few operational issues:

• important updates can be missed or noticed late
• job tracking becomes inconsistent
• manual copy-pasting into Airtable is repetitive
• inbox review turns into a low-quality daily maintenance task

I wanted a system that could read those emails, decide what kind of update each one represented, and keep my tracking state current without me having to manually inspect everything myself.
